Changing times make it necessary for all of us to make alternations in our wardrobe. It is well known that one the sari is eternal and shall remain the most humble and sensuous garment India has ever created.  What’s more exciting is that some designers have tried to make it more appealing to keep it alive. One such design belongs to the pocket saris that have really become quite trendy. On the left side of the waist lower down, is a cute little pocket for the cell phone and home keys. If a shirt can have a pocket stitched on it then why not the sari? The pocket saris are unique and hardly one can make out the pocket. The same material is used to make the pocket and it is stitched well. Once the sari is draped the pocket can be adjusted well.

Women at home and working outside do carry a lot of things. It is quite common to see women tucking house keys, hankies and other knick-knacks on their waist or tied to the pallu. Now they can easily make the sari look less like a hanger and more as a garment. Pocket saris are a cute creation and bound to stay on for long. In fact it is a lovely attachment that makes the women wears the sari with love. The simple pocket is easily hidden deftly with the pallu. Hence it does not mar the overall look of the garment. It also makes women waist-free!
